Dear Anna,

I'm writing to you as the VP of BiNet USA, the nation's leading non-profit advocacy organization for bisexual, pansexual, and fluid Americans.

Thank you for saying the words, "I'm bisexual" in the True Colors "Give A Damn" PSA.

We encourage everyone to watch the video at www.youtube.com/watch then join the campaign atwegiveadamn.org

While today is April Fools, bi people do exist and you have no idea how many people will be gladdened by your message and your courage. BiNet USA would like to extend an early invitation to BiNet USA's 20th anniversary party taking place during next year's 23rd National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change in Minneapolis, Minnesota Feb. 2—6, 2011. BiNet USA would love to have you and your fiancee as special guests.

For too long bisexual men, women and non-gender identified individuals have been told:

Bisexuals can't be in relationships.

Bisexuals can't commit.

Bisexuals don't know what they want.

Bisexuals are not OUT.

If you're bisexual and with an opposite sex partner you are straight.

If you're bisexual and with a same sex partner you are gay.

You and so many other people worldwide

PROVE a different truth.

BiNet USA is working diligently to increase visibility while encouraging both gay and straight worlds to learn about our rich and diverse history. I, for example am honored to present a workshop next week at Yale University on The History of bisexual People of Color.

Thank You, Anna for joining the many people worldwide who give a damn and are proud to say so!

With highest regard,

Faith Cheltenham, VP BiNet USA
