Singer Little Boots ( profiled in this week's Windy City Times ) has canceled a series of upcoming North American tour dates, according to ClashMusic.com. Among the canceled shows is a May 1 gig at the Metro, 3730 N. Clark.
The singer has been forced to cancel the shows are a result of "unforeseen circumstances." The British musician has apologized to fans.
She is still scheduled to take part in the Coachella Festival, which will take place April 16-18 in Indio, Calif. Other musicians slated to perform at Coachella include Jay-Z, Corinne Bailey Rae, LCD Soundsystem, Devo and La Roux.
