Art Design Chicago Now program. Artists across Chicago have been responding to the impact of the public health and political crises almost in real-time, creating work that both intervenes in and transforms our understanding of the events around us. Presented by CHF, a panel of contemporary Chicago artists including Bob Faust and Sadie Woods talk with art historian Greg Foster-Rice about how their work is meeting the moment-and how it connects to artistic responses during previous periods of discord. Join Faust, Woods, and Foster-Rice for a conversation about the role of art and the artist in times of crisis. This event will be livestreamed with a live Q+A. All events include captioning.
