Foster Boy Chicago Premiere virtual cinema presentation 7:30pm
For a special one-night-only event, the Chicago Premiere of FOSTER BOY-followed by an exclusive Q&A-will take place Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 7:30pm at the ChiTown Movies Drive-In, 2343 South Throop Street, Chicago. Join leading actors Shane Paul McGhie and Louis Gossett Jr., as well as writer Jay Paul Deratany, for an exclusive Q&A after the film.
Virtual Cinemas was created for temporarily closed or gradually reopening independent theaters. By purchasing a "ticket," you'll be directly supporting Music Box Theatre, as all revenue is being shared between distributor and exhibitor just as if you bought your ticket at the theater's box office.
About FOSTER BOY:
Michael Trainer (Matthew Modine) is a high-powered corporate lawyer, estranged from his family and his humanity; Jamal Randolph (Shane Paul McGhie) is an angry young man who has been imprisoned after enduring years of abuse in the corrupt foster care system. If Michael and Jamal can overcome their differences, they may find justice for Jamal and expose the immorality of for-profit foster care. The film also stars James Earl Jones, Louis Gossett Jr., Julie Benz, Amy Brenneman, Michael Beach, and Evan Handler.
