  TODAYS GAY & LESBIAN EVENTS

Thursday April 2nd

Am I Man Enough? THE CENTER ON HALSTED IS CLOSED
7:00pm

Hosted by Ada Cheng in collaboration with Anti-Violence Project to raise awareness about April Sexual Assault Awareness Month We will have a pre-show reception starting at 6:30pm at Irvine Harris Family Foundation Reception Hall. Several service providers will be present to answer questions. The show starts at 7pm at Hoover-Leppen Theatre. The whole event will take place on the third floor. Please join us for this critical dialogue. Integrating personal narrative with social critique, Am I Man Enough? is the show where people tell personal stories to critically examine the culture of toxic masculinity and the construction of masculinity and manhood. We have a great lineup that includes: Bobby Crowley, Scott Duff, Mae Flores, Maui Jones, Shruthi Kannan, Michael Van Kerckhove, Kelsey McGrath You don't want to miss these tellers. They have important stories to share: about social conditioning, about the ideology of hegemonic masculinity, about their own struggles conforming to as well as resisting against it. Am I Man Enough? is for people with important stories to tell. For more information, please email Ada Cheng sj.ada.cheng@gmail.com.
