Tickled Pink 15th annual celebration
8:00pm - 1:00am

CHICAGO, IL - February 5, 2020 - Tickled Pink, one of Chicago's most anticipated charity events, returns this year for its 15th annual celebration on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Rockwell on the River (3057 N Rockwell St, Chicago IL 60618). The event benefits Bright Pink, the only national non-profit organization focusing on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer. Tickled Pink has donated more than $2.3 million since its inception and continues to not only raise funds, but drive awareness to a cause near and dear to founder Jodi Fyfe, CEO and Founder of The Paramount Group Chicago. Fyfe started the annual fundraising event after her cousin Carrie Kenny passed away from breast cancer at the young age of 35. Fyfe has kept her cousin's memory alive through Tickled Pink, which gives everyone a night to celebrate Kenny and the lives of loved ones who are currently fighting, or whom we have lost. The event has continued to grow in size and scope, including a robust group of both longtime supporters and the addition of nearly three dozen up and coming professional women and men who have joined the Tickled Pink planning committee in the past year. "It is wonderful to look back on the past 15 years and see how far we've come in raising awareness and funds for the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer," said Fyfe. "We have an outstanding group of talented people who have come together to make our 15th year the best yet!" The celebratory evening begins at 8:00 p.m. with chef stations from Chicago's best restaurants, music, dancing, cocktails, an incredible silent auction and more! This year, Tickled Pink will be bringing back favorites such as The Chicago Players, Fig Media and Chicago Firefighters. Guests can sip on delicious cocktails and wine as well as enjoy an interactive cocktail station from the team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. In addition to a variety of wine and spirits, Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits will have a dedicated Rose Bar with still, sparkling and a Rose spritz! Partygoers will be able to indulge in savory and sweet bites from some of the city's best restaurants including Barrio, City Mouse, Eden, Gene & Georgetti, Labriola, Stan's Donuts, Pretty Cool Ice Cream and more. The party doesn't stop at Rockwell on the River, all guests will receive a wristband that will give you entry to the official Tickled Pink after party at Tao. Tickets are available for purchase online ranging from $115-$135. ($115 January 1- February 27, 2020, $135 day of.) About Tickled Pink Founded by Jodi Fyfe in 2005, Tickled Pink is an annual fundraiser benefiting breast and ovarian cancer causes. Jodi created the event out of her commitment to the cause after losing her cousin, Carrie Kenney, to breast cancer at the heartbreakingly young age of 35. Each year over 1,000 men and women gather for a celebration in honor of Carrie's memory. Over the past 14 years a total of $2,300,000 has been raised. About Bright Pink Bright Pink is a national non-profit focused on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women. The organization's mission is to save women's lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering them to live proactively at a young age. Bright Pink's innovative programs educate and equip young women to assess their risk for breast and ovarian cancer, reduce their risk, and detect these diseases at early, non-life-threatening stages. Founded in 2007, Bright Pink strives to reach the 52 million women in the US between the ages of 18-45 with this life-saving education. Put Awareness In Action™ at BrightPink.org.
