Violet Surprise Theatre Presents Lez Beaus 3:30pm
Whether it's a time-honored tale of girl gets boi in the present, or a romance between members of an all-girls baseball league in the past, the gal pals, lady friends, and lover girls in these stories experience everything from connection to rejection, affection to reflection. Lez Beaus is the second production from Violet Surprise, a queer feminist theatre company whose mission is to present new works that vibrantly and valiantly validate the identities of queer women. With Sapphrodite as the goddess of love, don't be surprised if lesbo and cupid's arrow hits you smack in the kisser.

Subject: Press Release: Violet Surprise Presents Lez Beaus at The Martin
Hi, Andrew and Jonathan.
This is Allison Fradkin, Co-Artistic Director, in collaboration with Iris Sowlat, of Violet Surprise Theatre.
We made our debut in 2019 with Femslash Fest (which you thoroughly and thoughtfully featured in Windy City Times) and are presently producing our second play festival, a celebration of lesbian love through the ages called Lez Beaus that will take the stage February 14-16 at The Martin in Wicker Park.
I have attached the press release for your perusal.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Thank you for your time.
Gaily,
Allison Fradkin
