Bear Necessities funder at Lyric Opera

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation Young Professionals' Board will host its annual fundraiser, "Purple Affair for the Bear," on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, 20 N. Upper Wacker Dr., 8 p.m. to midnight.
All proceeds will support innovative research to end pediatric cancer and provide hope to those affected by it.
Purple Affair for the Bear is co-chaired by Andrew Touhy and Conner Madey. General admission tickets are $100, which includes an open bar and small bites from popular Chicago restaurants including Boleo, BomboBar, Brightwok Kitchen, Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!, Mon Ami Gabi, Polpetti Meatball Bar, Stella Barra Pizzeria and Summer House Santa Monica. There will also be VIP tickets for $175 each.
Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation was founded in 1992 by Kathleen A. Casey, after losing her son "Bear" to pediatric cancer.
