National HIV Testing Day, testing and counseling 10:00am - 7:00pm
Walgreens and Greater Than AIDS are partnering community organizations across Chicago to provide free, confidential HIV testing and counseling in 22 Chicago Walgreens locations, including one in Boystown (at 3646 N. Broadway), on Thursday, June 27-National HIV Testing Day.
Between 10 a.m.-7 p.m., HIV tests will be administered (no appointment needed), with results delivered on-site. HIV counselors will also be on hand with information on prevention, early treatment and PrEP, a medication that offers an effective means of protection for those testing negative for HIV.
The test-site locator is at www.greaterthan.org/free-hiv-testing-walgreens-2019/ .
