Jokes, Flix and Heal 4:00pm
Award Winning Stand Up Comedian and writer, Sampson McCormick, returns to Chicago for a special evening of performance and film screening, an event titled "Jokes, Flix and Heal" that highlights mental and emotional wellness among black, gay men and in the black, LGBTQ community. His comedy performance will be followed by the screening of his new film "a different direction" with a special guest appearance by Darryl Stephens (Noah's ARC, Boy Culture). The event aims to provide a safe space where the community can be entertained as well as engage in dialogue around issues that affect our mental health as they relate to family, religion, economic and health status.
