We are inclusive of all Queer people, LGBTQI+ and we welcome Queer allies. We LOVE creating. We love taking a dream and turning it into a reality. We love building with all kinds of materials like wood, metal, and plastics, and learning the skills to do so. We also LOVE being self expressed. We love our bodies, we love our minds, we love our hearts, and we love how we are the source of POWERFUL creative energy. Yes we call ourselves Dykes with Drills, and we are a group of builders inclusive of all gender non conforming, trans people and allies. We welcome anyone and everyone who wants these skills for themselves and their communities to reach out and participate with us! Here at Dykes with Drills we are committed to 4 goals. 1. Giving people independence and confidence when using power tools 2. Creating communities of people through project based collaboration 3. Learning from our mistakes 4. We ask that our participants refrain from using extreme scents, though cannot guarantee the workshop space will be scent free.
