Christmas Meets Classic Rock in Classical Blast's Dark Side of the Yule holiday concert, a most unique Christmas musical experience which provides a new take on traditional carols, by mashing with rock music from the '60s to current, all performed on a mix of classical and rock instruments and featuring special guests.
Dark Side of the Yule includes music by Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Moody Blues, Metallica, Evanesence, and others, mashed with Christmas classics, medieval carols, and original holiday songs.
This year's show features new Classical Blast vocalist Sophie Monroy, plus special guest vocalist, Laura McDonald, along with the outstanding musicianship expected from the musicians of Classical Blast. Members have performed live with Survivor, Andrea Bocelli, Sting, David Foster, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and other top names. Dark Side of the Yule has wowed crowds throughout the Midwest.
