  TODAYS GAY & LESBIAN EVENTS

Friday July 13th

he One Woman No Show
6:00pm

By Liz Anderson, a run of one-woman shows performed and cold-read by people who are not that woman. $10 Adult / $5 Student OWNS is a cold-read solo or duo play featuring a brand new actor every performance. During each performance of the One Woman No Show a different performer and play is featured, with each piece being revealed to the actor at the perfect moment: that night, lights up, in front of an audience. Actors will cold-read selections from a show written especially for them, featuring monologues, audience interaction, charity challenges, pantomime, and improvisation. Past stars include professional wrestler Colt Cabana, SNL writer Katie Rich, and Second City Mainstage players Shantira Jackson and Tyler Davis. The One Woman No Show will host its fifth season at CSz Theater Chicago in Lakeview, every second Friday of the month at 10 PM. Our next performance will be on July 13. Our guest star is actor, comedian, and Second City star EJ Cameron. The actors in this production of The One Woman No Show are of a variety of ages, genders, performing styles, and experience levels. We cannot emphasize enough how little the performers know about what is going to happen to them--no one knows what will come next! If interested, you can go to onewomannoshow.com for more background, as well as our Facebook fan page here:https://www.facebook.com/onewomannoshow.
