It's Raining Femme Sex Positive Dance Party
7:00pm
Proceeds from the event will benefit Girl Forward, a support group for girls who have been displaced by conflict and persecution. Monthly social justice-and-music series with AUDIO JACK, MISS ALEX WHITE [of White Mystery], and more. A $5 suggested donation to benefit GirlForward will be collected at the door.
It's Raining Femme will focus on removing stigma from sexual choices and experiences. GMan is a safe and judgement-free space; hopefully on July 11, the message of consent, respect, and safety will resonate in the room, and even beyond its doors."
It's Raining Femme, a monthly event that showcases artists who identify as femme or outside of traditional gender vectors, kicked off in April 2018 with great success.
Striving to merge art and activism, all proceeds raised by It's Raining Femme benefit a new charity each month.
GirlForward is a community of support dedicated to creating and enhancing opportunities for girls who have been displaced by conflict and persecution. Through mentoring opportunities, camps, and safe space programming, GirlForward strives to help girls explore their identities, connect with peers, and access crucial resources.
