Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier actively welcomes the lesbian, gay, bisexual and queer/questioning community. Two months of special programs that showcase our ongoing commitment to making the museum a joyful place for all families. Morning Activities Skyline Workshop, 11:00 am-11:30 pm Enjoy small-group Story Time with Drag Queens, live music, dress-up activities, a group photo, and light snacks. Story Time with Drag Queens & dance party Great Hall, 1:00 pm-1:30 pm Watch a fabulous performer bring stories to life and stick around to join the dance party with live musical performances. Make an identity pin Great Hall, 12:00 pm-4:00 pm Meet volunteers from PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) and make an identity pin to keep. Collect a Color Great Hall, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Participate in our Collect-a-Color rainbow scavenger hunt and make a bracelet to keep! Find clues to the colors all around the museum. LGBT Resources Great Hall, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm Access helpful resources provided by Family Equality Council, Illinois Safe Schools Alliance, and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospitals of Chicago. --------------------- May 6 - June 30, 2018 Rainbow Staircase Help transform our three-story central staircase into a giant rainbow by adding colorful ribbons every time you visit in May and June.
