Author Reading: Together We Rise 7:30pm
In celebration of the one-year anniversary of Women's March, Together We Rise offers an unprecedented chronicle of this galvanizing movements, with exclusive interviews with Women's March organizers, never-before-seen photographs, and essays by feminist activists. On January 21, 2017, the day after Donald J. Trump's inauguration, more than three million marchers of all ages and walks of life took to the streets as part of the largest protest in American history. For this event, Head of Field Operations for the National Women's March Mrinalini Chakraborty will be joined by affiliated activists to discuss the March, its effects on the larger political landscape, and the organizers' goals for the future. Stay connected to Women & Children First's Facebook page for announcements about which panelists will be joining us for this event.
