From Resister to Change Agent: One Year After the Women's March

On January 21, 2017, millions of people on all seven continents joined together for the Women's March. One year later, what strides have been made and what do we do next? Join us as we welcome a diverse group of advocates for a conversation about how to enact grassroots change in the Trump era. We will learn from the experiences of women who are leading meaningful activism in communities around Chicago. Panelists will include: Jaquie Algee: Director of External Relations, SEIU, Sameena Mustafa: Congressional Candidate for IL-5, Precious Brady-Davis: Diversity Advocate and Press Secretary at Sierra Club, Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth: State Coordinator for Indivisible IL.
