Stories in the Spotlight: Writing Workshop
7:00pm - 8:00pm

Designed for transgender participants, STORIES IN THE SPOTLIGHT lets you transform an important moment into a story that professional actors will perform onstage. Playwright Susan Lieberman teaches techniques for writing effective autobiographical anecdotes in this six-week, free-of-charge workshop at Center on Halsted. Novelist Renee James will drop by to discuss her work as a transgender author and share writing tips. Then Chicago actors such as Delia Kropp will present your stories to an invited audience on February 19th in Center on Halsted's theater. Interested?
