Pflag 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Center on Halsted hosts several peer-led Community Groups who meet regularly for discussion, activity, and socializing. The Center provides a supportive space for these groups to gather and collaborate within the LGBTQ and Allied communities.
Founded in 1972 with the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the nation's largest family and ally organization. Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality and full societal affirmation of LGBTQ people through its threefold mission of support, education, and advocacy. Our meetings are informative and open to all who wish to participate. We foster an environment where friends and supporters of PFLAG gather to form a community of help and mutual understanding.
NOTE: Conflicting holidays and other circumstances may impact groups' scheduled meetings. Please check back prior to each meeting to confirm it's meeting date/time. Meeting location may also change and will be reflected on the calendar posted in the building prior to the meeting.
