Workshop: Building a Trans-Inclusive Community
6:30pm - 8:30pm

Presented by Kate Harrington-Rosen & Jes Scheinpflug. Because work, school, worship, friends and family tend to be conditioned to view and treat gender in ways that don't serve society well, this interactive two-hour workshop is designed for community members who want to discuss how to create more trans-affirming spaces. This workshop aims to: - discuss terminology 101 - dismantle the limited ways we view gender - highlight legal protections for trans & gender nonconforming ( TGNC ) folks - share tools for interrupting transphobia
