KaraokeCares Presents the anti-inauguration party
8:00pm - 1:30am

Performers will be hosting more than five hours of karaoke to counteract the inauguration that many people in Chicago are looking to avoid. Sonic Lizard Karaoke has hosted karaoke in this venue for more than 10 years. Hosts Alma and Steve are featuring a longer show to raise funds for a much-maligned organization vital to all people, not just women: Planned Parenthood. Also benefiting will be Pride Action Tank, a project sponsored by the AIDS Foundation of Chicago that summons inquiry, advocacy and action to address pressing issues affecting the city's LGBTQIA communities. Suggested donation to attend the event is $10. Karaoke games will be held to raise funds. A raffle for prizes and a silent auction are planned. Receipt confirming a prior donation to either organization could be used as the entry fee. See Facebook @karaokecares
