 BAILIWICK AWARDS

Bailiwick Repertory and Ralph Lampkin hosted the 2002 Larry Osburn Trailblazer Awards Nov. 4, at the Mercury Theater. The Trailblazer Awards are given in honor of Larry Osburn to members and friends of the GLBT community whose work and lives have moved this community forward in areas of sports, culture, journalism, and community affairs. This year's award recipients were: Michael Bauer, Political Activist; Joel Hall, Artistic Director of Joel Hall Dancers; Terri Hemmert, WXRT, DJ and Music Historian; Honorable Jan Schakowsky, Congresswoman, 9th Congressional District; Tracy Baim, Publisher, Windy City Times; and Bill Zwecker, Chicago Sun-Times columnist, Fox TV commentator.
